Employment Support Specialist

Wings, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Employment Specialist to join our team. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their employment goals.
Job Summary:The Employment Specialist will work closely with individuals, employers, and other stakeholders to provide job coaching, training, and support to help individuals with disabilities secure and maintain employment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide job coaching and training to individuals with disabilities to help them develop the skills and confidence needed to secure and maintain employment.
- Work with employers to identify job opportunities and provide support to help individuals with disabilities succeed in the workplace.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
- Conduct job analyses to identify job duties and develop training plans to help individuals with disabilities learn new skills.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of individuals with disabilities in their employment goals and provide ongoing support and coaching as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as vocational rehabilitation counselors and job developers, to provide comprehensive support to individuals with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on employment outcomes and provide data to inform program development and improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as special education, rehabilitation counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a job coaching or employment support role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, employers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
The Employment Specialist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent travel to job sites and community organizations. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a variety of settings, including offices, job sites, and community organizations.
