Service Manager - HVAC/R

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the service P/L for assigned branches, ensuring efficient operations and maximizing revenue.
  • Forecast manpower requirements to meet customer demands and optimize resource allocation.
  • Effectively prioritize customer calls and advise dispatch accordingly, ensuring timely completion of work orders.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met, and calls are completed on a timely basis, adhering to customer rules and regulations.
  • Review dashboards and financial reports to identify areas for improvement and take corrective action.
  • Oversee the procurement of parts and supplies, maintaining inventory levels and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain open communication with customers, ensuring their expectations are met and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and subcontractors, driving business growth and revenue.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in refrigeration/HVAC service, commercial construction, or a related industry, with previous managerial experience.
  • Knowledge of commercial refrigeration and HVAC principles and practices, including service hour estimation, labor forecasting, and multiple disciplines involved in area of responsibility.
  • Proficiency in understanding and managing P/L, with demonstrated business acumen.
  • Ability to solve problems and apply good judgment, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership skills, with experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery.
