Complex Scheduler Role

At University of Minnesota Physicians, we are seeking a skilled Complex Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics and departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate appointments, procedures, and treatments for patients, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinic staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Identify and resolve potential issues that may impact patient care, such as insurance issues or adherence concerns.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to patients regarding their scheduled appointments and procedures.
  • Manage and update daily schedules and calendars for physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
  • Basic medical terminology knowledge.
