Outreach Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outreach Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Marion County. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will play a critical role in providing assessment and treatment services, crisis intervention, and community stabilization to individuals and families with complex needs and diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment and treatment services, crisis intervention, and community stabilization to individuals and families with complex needs and diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans to address the unique needs of each client.
- Work closely with community partners, including Salem Hospital and Marion County Jail, to address urgent and crisis situations.
- Manage a caseload of individuals with few to no financial support resources who are struggling to connect in the community.
- Provide brief therapy and create and monitor individualized service plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
- Meet performance expectations for time and billing standards.
- Masters degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
- One year of post-master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.
- Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
- Salem Hospital Credentialing: Must possess, or obtain within 6 months of hire, Salem Hospital Privileges.
