Job Title: Healthcare Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in healthcare construction to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

As a Project Manager for our healthcare construction projects, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met and exceed expectations.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
  • Oversee the performance of project team members and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards, particularly those specific to healthcare facilities.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and closeout documentation.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, maintaining communication and providing regular project updates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on healthcare projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing healthcare construction projects in NYC, including hospitals, medical offices, and other healthcare facilities.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare-specific construction requirements, including infection control, MEP systems, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of NYC building codes and regulations is a plus.
