Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with 6+ years of experience to join our Healthcare team. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to grow their talents and increase exposure in the AE Healthcare area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years of experience and be a licensed architect specializing in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply sound architectural and design techniques, methodology, and principles to all work product.
  • Demonstrate clear competency in preparing all phases of documentation.
  • Primary project work will focus on healthcare facilities, including hospitals and outpatient facilities.
  • Proficient with NJ & NY state and federal healthcare code compliance guidelines.
  • Capable of producing a coordinated set of construction documents and specifications.
  • Liaise as needed with external consultants and engineers and able to incorporate engineering specifications with architectural design.
  • Ability to work on a range of projects from new buildings to renovations and alterations.
  • Develop programming documentation and preliminary designs as needed.
  • Attend pre-proposal meetings and provide input into scope of work and services for new proposals.
  • Comfortable and versed working with senior project managers.
  • Self-motivated and energetic individual who can collaborate and work closely with others.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and energetic environment.
  • Conscious of meeting deadlines while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements
  • Must be proficient in Autodesk Revit.
  • Must be versed in Microsoft office; Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Newform & Deltek Vantagepoint a Plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative work ethic.
  • Strong communication skills.
Education and Experience
  • Prior experience with healthcare projects, including hospitals and outpatient facilities.
  • Healthcare programming and planning a plus.
  • BArch, MArch, or equivalent degree from an accredited U.S. Architecture School.
  • Maintain professional license in the USA.
  • Healthcare portfolio required.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
