Mortgage Loan Officer

We are looking for a skilled Mortgage Loan Officer to facilitate the loan process for our clients. In this position, you will be responsible for driving loan production through effective sales strategies with builders, real estate agents, and other key stakeholders. Proficiency in FHA, VA, and conventional loan products is required, and familiarity with fundamental underwriting principles is advantageous. Strong communication abilities are essential as you will collaborate with various parties to optimize loan transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and nurture a network of contacts to drive sales by reaching out to individuals, realtors, and builders
  • Participate in marketing initiatives to highlight loan offerings
  • Guide clients in completing loan applications while negotiating favorable terms
  • Evaluate information to facilitate loan approvals
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the loan process
  • Ensure prompt loan closures by closely coordinating with processing teams
  • Stay informed about current loan regulations and policies
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED; a college degree is preferred
  • Experience in outside sales within FHA, VA, and conventional lending
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in computer usage with typing capabilities
  • Understanding of basic underwriting guidelines
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
