Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Office and Community Specialist to join our team at Thor Companies. This role will be responsible for managing our office spaces, ensuring a high-performing work culture, and driving business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage office spaces, including facilities, inventory, and utilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance office aesthetics and communication channels.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute sales communication strategies.
  • Support other departments in the usage and development of the Hub, Thor's intranet.
  • Work with Data & Technology manager to introduce, streamline, and improve policies and procedures.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for European offices.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets for US offices and community.
  • Carry out clerical duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents.
  • Support scaling the US business from a logistical perspective.

Event, Culture & Community Management

  • Manage global and local in-office and off-site events, ensuring they are executed successfully and within budget.
  • Oversee the management and execution of small-scale company events globally.
  • Serve as the driving force behind content creation for events, crafting compelling messaging and materials.
  • Lead projects aimed at enhancing office aesthetics and communication channels.
  • Manage communication tools that form part of the office visuals.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva.
  • Experience in office management and event planning.
