About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Development Project Manager to join our team at The Community Builders, Inc. This is a key role in our organization, responsible for the day-to-day progression of all aspects of the development process, including due diligence, entitlements, regulatory approvals, financing, design, construction, and leasing.

The successful candidate will have a passion for real estate development and a focus on building strong communities for all people. They will be responsible for solving problems creatively, working collaboratively, negotiating and persuading effectively, and accurately identifying risks and recommending strategies to avoid them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development process from due diligence to closing
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals
  • Negotiate and persuade effectively to secure project outcomes
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and community partners
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential real estate development, including management of a development team
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with budgeting and financial modeling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Project (Adobe skills a plus)
