We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at West Side Federation for Senior and Supportive Housing. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping services to all residents, ensuring a clean, safe, and personalized home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct housekeeping staff to ensure all areas on resident floors are clean and free of potential safety hazards.
  • Tidy the lounge and common area, including surfaces and floors.
  • Make beds, clean bathrooms, empty trash, and ensure each resident has access to an adequate supply of toilet paper, soap, and other essentials.
  • Dust and clean resident rooms, vacuum resident rooms, change linens, and launder linens and personal clothing as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to establish and maintain respect for and communication with residents.
  • Attend training sessions and conferences to enhance job skills and implement emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Submit all required reports in a complete and timely manner.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be emotionally, mentally, and physically able to perform job responsibilities.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
