Key Responsibilities- Medication Administration
- Administer medications and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner.
- Review and document medication administration records.
- Receive and update medication information from the Resident Care Director or Wellness Nurse.
- Ensure medications are passed according to schedule and document any refusals or missed doses.
- Resident Care
- Provide resident care and support while promoting dignity and independence.
- Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
- Risk Management and General Safety
- Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Practice safety procedures at all times, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately.
- LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
- Ability to react calmly in difficult situations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
