Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant Sr is a highly skilled and experienced professional responsible for providing advanced level administrative support to senior level department heads within assigned areas. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive and complex administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to senior level department heads, including coordinating projects, managing calendars, and preparing reports.
  • Supervise and train other administrative staff as needed, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures and policies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the department.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  • Prepare and present complex reports, presentations, and other materials as required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or two years of college required. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum five years of secretarial, clerical, or administrative experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to type 50 wpm required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Ability to work calmly and respond courteously under pressure, with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
