We are in search of a Radiology Technologist to join our dedicated team, ensuring that we deliver high-quality and efficient care to all patients. If you are passionate about patient care and want to be part of a supportive environment, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities and QualificationsSpecific Duties:
- Capture high-quality radiographic images of patients using both stationary and portable equipment within designated timeframes.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols for both patients and self, utilizing appropriate protective gear and operating radiographic equipment safely.
- Demonstrate proficiency in necessary computer operations (e.g., Meditech and PACS), ensuring accurate charge entry and verification of physician orders.
- Provide professional and courteous patient care.
- Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, monitor supply inventory, and maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Assist radiologists in administering medications and contrast agents, as well as providing comprehensive patient care.
- Review each examination for technical accuracy, ensuring proper markers, quality, positioning, and annotation, completing the verification process in PACS.
- Support the Diagnostic Supervisor with PACS maintenance tasks, including cleaning CR plates and managing exam submissions.
- Fulfill personal educational requirements to maintain professional standards.
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding employee and patient information in accordance with policies.
Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification required.
- Graduate of an accredited vocational school.
