Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Imaging Specialist to join our team at Retreat Doctors' Hospital. As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for CT and X-ray procedures, collecting relevant information, and ensuring the safe transfer and positioning of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT and X-ray procedures, collecting relevant information and ensuring patient safety.
  • Perform all CT and X-ray procedures, adhering to radiation safety standards and utilizing ALARA policy.
  • Observe patients' conditions and report any concerns to the medical team.
  • Transfer and position patients safely, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Administer contrast media as required, following established protocols.
  • Compile accurate records to expedite results and ensure seamless communication with the medical team.
  • Participate in continuing education activities to expand knowledge of CT and meet ARRT continuing education requirements.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification.
  • Vocational School Graduate.
