Position Summary
As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing patient conditions by utilizing radiologic equipment to create high-quality images.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing patients for imaging procedures by ensuring proper positioning and equipment setup.
- Maintaining the quality and production of radiographs by adhering to established protocols.
- Documenting patient care services accurately in departmental records.
- Reviewing images for technical precision and ensuring proper anatomical orientation.
- Assisting radiologists with patient care, including administering medications and contrast agents.
- Participating in emergency call rotations as needed.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- An Associate's Degree or equivalent military training in Radiologic Technology.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and a valid state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred membership in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
