Job Responsibilities and Qualifications- Capture high-quality MRI images of patients.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols. Operate MRI machinery safely, ensuring all patients are screened for contraindications.
- Exhibit proficiency in all necessary computer operations.
- Provide patient care in a professional and respectful manner, remaining attentive to patients' conditions.
- Prepare the MRI scanner and conduct quality control assessments.
- Administer contrast media as necessary.
- Review each examination for technical precision and ensure proper anatomical orientation on all images.
- Fulfill and maintain educational requirements.
- Prepare patients and gather relevant information for procedure completion.
- Understand and utilize electronic information systems effectively.
- Participate in departmental quality assurance as requested. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked department.
- Ensure patient safety, including cleaning the MRI bore as required.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) and ARRT (MR) certification.
- Graduate of a Vocational School.
