About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the State of Florida's skilled nursing facility. As a Senior Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our veteran residents, ensuring their health, safety, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients, utilizing your nursing skills and judgment to meet their unique needs.
  • Evaluate and document patient condition, set goals, and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including therapy and procedures.
  • Assign and supervise nursing care to team members, ensuring seamless delivery of care.
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Practical Nurse in accordance with Florida Statute 464.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Successful completion of the due diligence process, including a Level II background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility, with a geriatric population.
  • One year of experience providing practical nursing services.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
