Key Responsibilities

The SCRUM Master will oversee the following duties for both new and existing systems:
  • Guide the development team by articulating the vision and prioritizing tasks based on business impact.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure their needs are reflected in the release, while collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Accountable for the project's business dimensions, ensuring the correct product is developed in the appropriate sequence, within budget, and on schedule.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Agile Scrum delivery team regarding information, task prioritization, and decision-making.
  • Manage and oversee the Scrum process from initiation to delivery.
  • Facilitate communication between the product owner, development team, and management to ensure all objectives and requirements are fulfilled.
  • Ensure that all team members comprehend the project goals.
  • Maintain the product backlog and release plan, enhancing productivity by organizing meetings and eliminating obstacles that may hinder the team's sprint objectives.
  • Maintain adaptability and responsiveness to changes, serving as the facilitator for an agile development team.
  • Oversee the process of information exchange.
  • Possess familiarity with SAFe Agile methodologies.
  • Provide insights into the formulation of system scopes and objectives.
  • Identify operational goals by analyzing functions, gathering data, and assessing output requirements and formats.
  • Evaluate technical processes.
  • Demonstrate experience with project management and collaboration tools (Jira, SharePoint, MS Teams, and MS PowerPoint).
  • Full-time work in a secure environment is required, though hours are flexible.
Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years with a BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with an MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with a PhD.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical (STEM) field with 8+ years of pertinent experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and/or Kanban methodologies is required.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments, including AWS.
  • Familiarity with SecDevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
