Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring cash flow and accounts receivable
  • Reviewing and adjusting costs and budgets in collaboration with Project Managers
  • Ensuring the timely completion of all monthly accounting processes
  • Facilitating interdisciplinary training
  • Reporting on minority participation
  • Maintaining comprehensive project documentation
  • Overseeing subcontractor compliance
  • Coordinating with project representatives
  • Managing project administration
  • Handling project initiation and closure
  • Preparing monthly billings for owners and fulfilling other owner requirements
  • Reviewing and processing payment requests from subcontractors and vendor invoices
  • Assisting with journal entries and budget modifications as necessary
  • Providing overall project support as needed
  • Assisting with or coordinating project audits

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Experience with CMiC and/or Textura is preferred
  • Prior experience in office administration and accounting
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of insurance requirements, contract documents, and mechanic's lien laws
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills
  • Positive demeanor, ability to work under pressure, and collaborate efficiently
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and supervisors
