Montage International is seeking a committed professional to take on the role of Executive Steward. This position is vital in managing kitchen operations, ensuring sanitation, and leading the Stewarding team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview, and train new team members
  • Develop and oversee the weekly roster for the Stewarding team
  • Manage inventory and storage of kitchen and beverage supplies
  • Facilitate effective communication across departments for seamless operations
  • Order necessary supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained in excellent working order
  • Uphold cleanliness standards in all kitchen areas
  • Assist with banquet functions and oversee the kitchen recycling initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on various projects
  • Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures
  • Formulate departmental budgets and schedules
  • Conduct team meetings to promote effective communication
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • A minimum of four (4) years' experience in a leadership role within Stewarding
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude for data analysis and interpretation
  • Familiarity with hotel stewarding operations
  • Basic computer skills are essential
  • Capability in budgetary analysis
  • Understanding of housekeeping service techniques and cost management

This position requires providing daily guidance, which includes standing and walking for extended periods. The ability to lift moderate weights and operate office equipment is essential.

The salary range for this role is between $66,600 and $100,000.
