About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Firelands Regional Medical Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with patient care and provide information to patients to ensure they fully utilize and benefit from clinic services.
  • Perform a variety of clinical duties, including monitoring patient flow, obtaining and documenting patient vitals, and performing technical laboratory functions.
  • Provide administrative support, including greeting patients, operating the switchboard, and maintaining accurate records for timely billing.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing with current licensure in the state of Ohio, or a High school graduate with Medical Assistant certification.
  • Experience in a medical office or urgent care setting preferred.
  • Ability to perform as a Medical Scribe from time-to-time.
  • Current CPR certification and proficiency in the use of personal computers with strong typing skills.
