Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our Float Pool team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians with patient care and provide information to patients to ensure they fully utilize and benefit from clinic services.
- Perform a variety of clinical duties, including monitoring patient flow, obtaining and documenting patient vitals, and performing technical laboratory functions.
- Monitor and track medical equipment, schedule procedures and tests, and perform medical scribe duties.
- Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing with current licensure in the state of Ohio, or High school graduate with Medical Assistant certification.
- Ability to perform as a medical scribe and possess critical thinking skills, including initiative, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Current CPR certification and valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license.
