We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning and Control Specialist to join our team at Brask, Inc. as a Production Scheduler. This role will be responsible for assisting with the production scheduling to ensure efficient operations and cycle time to enable on-time performance relative to customer requested demand, maximizing total resources while supporting company objectives regarding inventory, sales volume, product cost, scheduling, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Publish master production schedule (MPS) every week and assure adherence by working with all functional areas to ensure proper and timely material flow to meet production requirements.
- Coordinates cross-functional activities with Quality Control, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Shipping, and Receiving, and Contact Administration to ensure a smooth flow of materials through the production process and consistent information about status and priorities.
- Communicate, track and expedite any material shortages or other problems that affect the production plan or sales order backlog.
- Evaluate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and ensure proper implementation on assigned products.
- Revised production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, and engineering.
- Plan production commitments and timetables using critical path method (CPM)
- Schedule various machines to appropriately balance demand and satisfy production schedules.
- Perform other work-related tasks as required.
- 2+ years' experience in the manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience with production scheduling systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Equivalent
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & MRP.
