Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

At Graywolf Integrated Construction Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our large industrial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of welding, fabrication, and construction activities to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and industry codes.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action requests, maintaining accurate records of all inspections and findings.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to communicate quality issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform material testing as required, including destructive and non-destructive testing methods, to verify material properties and integrity.
  • Provide training and mentorship to construction staff on quality control procedures, welding standards, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through quality initiatives and effective vendor selection.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Develop and provide periodic reports on quality control activities and key performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of quality control experience in the industrial construction industry, with a strong focus on welding inspections.
  • CWI certification is mandatory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Thorough understanding of quality control principles and practices, including welding standards (e.g., AWS, ASME).
  • Knowledge of construction materials and processes, particularly in industrial settings.
Work Environment:

This position requires flexibility in working hours to fulfill project obligations, including long days, evenings, and weekends as needed. The role is primarily on-site, necessitating the ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
