Job Summary

As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting complex research, supervising laboratory staff, and serving as a subject matter expert and mentor to less experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct highly specialized and complex research in support of the division's research goals and objectives.
  • Supervise the activities of all laboratory staff and users.
  • Assume responsibility for the successful operations of the laboratory.
  • Provide training for staff and ensure laboratory is properly equipped and equipment is properly maintained.
  • Oversee and ensure effective biospecimen collection, processing, and storage activities.
  • Perform flow cytometry experiments, including sample staining and data acquisition.
  • Administrative duties include responsibility for maintaining reagent, chemical and supply, and creating and maintaining protocols for staff to follow.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including experience in flow cytometry, blood cell processing, and immune assays.
  • 5+ years' experience working in an immunology-based research environment preferred.
