Job Description

AT&T is seeking a highly skilled Lead Sales Exec 2 IS to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling complex technical products and services to customers, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and leading the sales and technical team in client meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, develop, and close systems integration outsourcing projects, involving customized multi-product/multi-vendor solutions with hardware, software, and services.
  • Apply sales skills to engage and close opportunities with decision-makers, turning opportunities over to implementation/consulting teams.
  • Sell complex technical products and/or application services, generating sales and supporting the sales efforts of direct sellers by leveraging product, industry, and/or technological expertise.
  • Support accounts as an overlay/sales specialist seller as opportunities are identified, leading the sales and technical team in client meetings in support of the sale of products, services, and solutions.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of new and emerging products and/or application services, spending the majority of time at customers' premises developing and presenting sales proposals and systems solutions for the most complex projects.
  • Viewed as an expert in the field by both the company and the customer, assisting less experienced peers and partners with Account Managers to close more complex sales involving high-level interfaces.
  • May take the lead in identifying new opportunities, familiar with one or more of SD-WAN, SASE, Data Center/Colocation, UC, Contact Center, VoIP, Wi-Fi, Professional Services, IPv6, video, and transport technologies like Broadband, 5G, and LEO.
  • Knowledge of AT&T products and services is also key, with the ability to handle contract terms, financial models, customer/vendor negotiations while following strict compliance guidelines.
  • Established relationships with direct sales teams in the SLED segment are highly desired, with expertise in integrating solutions, solution selling, bid & proposal, account and relationship management, leading solutions teams, developing new business, experience of working within a large and globalized organization, strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and ability to create high-performing teams in support of selling business communications solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are required.
Requirements:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree.
  • Requires a minimum of seven to ten years of direct work experience.
