Position Overview

Northwell Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Ambulatory Radiology team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients under the supervision of a physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Administer medications and meticulously document their therapeutic effects.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions throughout their treatment journey.
  • Perform assigned back office duties efficiently and rotate as a telephone triage nurse as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all practice policies and procedures.
  • Engage in related duties as required, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the healthcare team.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program or a Nursing Vocational/Technical school.
  • Possession of a current Practical Nurse license in New York State, along with any necessary specialized certifications.
  • Preferred: At least one year of inpatient nursing experience and proficiency in IV skills.
