Position Summary

As an integral member of the Customer Experience division, our Field Service Engineers play a pivotal role in establishing an exceptional initial customer interaction and fostering a long-lasting experience that distinguishes us from competitors across industries. You will engage with our primary markets to conduct pre-installation assessments, coordinate projects, execute equipment installations, perform repairs, provide training, assist with technical support, follow up with customers, and oversee the systems installed at client sites. Our Field Service Engineers must cultivate and sustain robust relationships with customers, colleagues, and service partners, as these connections are vital to your success.

Your Duties Include:

  • Conducting pre-installation assessments and coordinating with contractors and end-users.
  • Executing new equipment installations or removals, performing preventative maintenance, and addressing emergency repairs, ensuring compliance with quality assurance protocols.
  • Delivering post-sales technical support and on-site training for personnel.
  • Ensuring all services meet customer specifications and adhere to quality standards.
  • Maintaining communication with clients and troubleshooting issues through various channels.
  • Possessing a general understanding of IT and basic networking concepts.
  • Building confidence with customers through effective communication.
  • Researching project statuses and managing on-site coordination.
  • Overseeing inventory and necessary documentation for service-related tasks.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision while also thriving in a remote team environment.
  • Engaging in all technical support activities aimed at achieving a premier customer experience.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement within service delivery and management functions.
  • Providing constructive feedback to internal teams to enhance system reliability.
  • Physical capability to lift and move equipment weighing approximately 30-50 lbs regularly.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, including occasional weekend travel.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across all enterprise systems impacting customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in field service and installations.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware repair and service.
  • Experience collaborating with medical professionals and resolving technical issues is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships across the organization.
  • Able to thrive in dynamic environments with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Organized and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 70% domestic travel may be required.

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000
