Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing and measurement of power and grounding systems.
  • Execute site initialization and thorough inspections on hardware components.
  • Set up and configure PC/server and networking equipment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain DCS-related assets.
  • Support DCS software installation and maintenance.
  • Oversee elements of DCS management and administration, including OS patching, antivirus updates, and system security protocols.
  • Perform system backups and manage disaster recovery operations.
  • Engage in onsite control system modifications and tuning.
  • Assist in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Participate in commissioning and loop-check activities.
  • Manage small configuration projects, including graphical interfaces.
  • Utilize your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve control systems and instrumentation issues.
  • Identify opportunities for system performance enhancements to drive operational efficiency.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in a relevant technical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in DCS/instrumentation project work.
  • Strong proficiency in A/C and D/C power and grounding.
  • Skilled in using electrical testing equipment.
  • Experience with DCS and/or PLC control systems.
  • Proficient with Windows-based operating systems.
  • Competent in motor controls and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with engineering documentation such as P&IDs, Electrical One Lines, and Plot Plans.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment during testing, start-ups, troubleshooting, and deployment.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
