We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Eppendorf North America. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site service and support to our customers, ensuring that their instruments and equipment are functioning efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site service and maintenance on instruments and equipment, including installation, operator training, and troubleshooting.
  • Adhere to service manuals and technical procedures, and properly document and manage work activity, billing, and quality documents.
  • Work with Dispatch and the area service manager to balance workload and call schedule against competing priorities.
  • Promote the sale of Eppendorf North America service products to meet budgeted targets.
  • Establish and maintain technical competencies and knowledge pertaining to service activities.
  • Communicate status and expectations to customers and colleagues in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent military training.
  • Three to five years' related experience and/or training.
  • Excellent technical and customer skills, with a positive can-do professional image and attitude.
