Position Overview

We are looking for committed and empathetic Behavioral Technicians to become part of our team. As an ABA Behavior Technician at Accel Therapies, you will be instrumental in executing personalized ABA therapy programs for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Working under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Program Supervisors (PS), you will engage directly with clients to provide individualized support and interventions aimed at achieving specific behavioral objectives.

This role is particularly suitable for individuals pursuing careers in Clinical Psychology, Medicine, Social Work, or related Human Health Services, offering valuable real-world experience in a clinical behavioral health setting without the need for an advanced degree or certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Interaction: Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients across various environments, including home, educational settings, and community locations, adhering to the behavior intervention strategies established by the BCBA and PS.
  • Progress Tracking: Diligently document and maintain records of client progress, behavioral observations, and other pertinent information throughout therapy sessions.
  • Behavioral Strategies: Apply behavior modification techniques and approaches outlined in the individualized treatment plan to address challenging behaviors and foster skill acquisition.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure cohesive service delivery and effective progress monitoring.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training and meetings to remain informed about best practices in ABA therapy.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.
  • A valid Driver's License and dependable transportation are required.
  • Previous experience as an ABA Therapist with individuals with Autism or developmental disabilities is advantageous.
  • Experience in childcare is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
