Key Responsibilities

The Emergency Medical Technician will:
  • Assess and manage medical, trauma, and environmental emergencies under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
  • Assist in providing patient care tailored to individual needs within the scope of practice.
  • Maintain a safe environment and support the ED Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse in their duties.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic EMT Training or relevant emergency room experience.
  • A current BLS certification, with the ability to maintain it.
  • Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation certification within 30 days of hire.
  • State certification as a Certified/Licensed EMT.

Compensation

The estimated compensation for this role ranges from $16.70 to $24.03, with the final offer determined based on various factors such as experience, education, and credentials.
