Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Affordable Housing Assistant Community Director to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of affordable housing programs, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Community Director in the day-to-day operations of the property, including supervising on-site staff and managing the asset to meet client goals.
  • Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in the daily overall operations of the apartment community.
  • Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests while representing FPI.
  • Responsible for training and onboarding of new leasing team members.
  • Implement advertising and marketing strategies for the apartment community as needed.
  • Exhibit professional leasing techniques and ensure that all online marketing sources are updated daily.
  • Promote positive resident/management relations and ensure the safety, comfort, and privacy of all property residents.
  • Assist with the implementation of resident retention programs and ensure that documents and reporting systems are maintained, updated, and organized.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required. College degree in a relatable field preferred, but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
  • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet).
