Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Director to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD programs, and USDA-Rural Development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and enhance the value of a small asset/property, managing a staff of up to 5 Full-Time Employees (FTEs).
  • Manage the maximum revenue potential of the property through lease expirations and timely turnover.
  • Supervise all on-site staff, including Assistant Community Director, Resident Services Coordinator(s), Compliance Specialist(s), Leasing Manager, Leasing Consultant(s), Maintenance Supervisor(s), Maintenance Technician(s), Make-Ready or Rehab Technician(s), Groundskeeper(s), Painter(s), and Housekeeper(s).
  • Develop and implement advertising and marketing strategies for the apartment community.
  • Ensure compliance with various department requirements, including Risk Management, and maintain current permit, licensing, and inspection requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with affordable housing programs.
  • Affordable Housing Accreditation (e.g., HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) or other applicable designations in affordable programs.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required. College degree in a relatable field preferred, but not required.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, and internet.
