Position Summary:
The Construction Manager will oversee the daily operations within the facility, ensuring optimal production performance, equipment upkeep, and adherence to regulatory standards. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive operational documentation, including reports and licenses.
  • Drive production team performance through effective communication, planning, and evaluation.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop staff to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor workflow processes, implementing improvements and cost-saving measures.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to ensure production goals are met.
  • Uphold quality standards by enforcing organizational policies.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs and assess new technologies.
  • Compile and analyze production data to inform decision-making.
  • Revise operational systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Educate staff on safety protocols and equipment usage.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 8 years in a supervisory role.
  • At least 2 years of mechanical experience, including welding and maintenance.
  • 5+ years of experience operating construction equipment.
  • Experience in materials processing and asphalt/concrete operations.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in computer usage for communication and information management.
  • Experience in labor relations or union management.
