Kunj Construction Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Site Supervisor - Quality & Safety to oversee field operations for our projects in the Philadelphia area. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of construction practices, safety protocols, and quality control measures.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will work closely with subcontractors, project managers, and government stakeholders to maintain project schedules, manage resources effectively, and deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with Construction Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain and update project schedules and three-week lookaheads for optimal progress tracking.
  • Coordinate the efforts of subcontractors and support staff to achieve on-site objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive daily reports, including site photos, to document project activities.
  • Interpret and understand construction plans, specifications, and shop drawings with accuracy.
  • Supervise the construction process to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Communicate effectively with government stakeholders regarding project status updates.
  • Monitor workmanship quality and enforce compliance with submittal requirements.
  • Implement and maintain a robust safety program on-site, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Review subcontractor materials and workmanship to guarantee adherence to quality standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of the company's Quality Control Program for consistent project excellence.
  • Utilize ECMS and other government reporting systems effectively.
  • Track and complete punch lists according to contract specifications.
  • Assist in gathering O&M manuals and closeout documents for project completion.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to contribute to team success.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, or Site Safety Officer with a focus on renovation projects.
  • Familiarity with ECMS systems and government construction reporting requirements.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role on government construction projects.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and associated software applications.
  • Experience using smartphones and tablets for communication and documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with subcontractors and support staff.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings accurately.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills for clear and concise reporting.
  • CPR/First Aid and OSHA 30 certifications are required.
  • CQM (Construction Quality Management) Certificate is essential.
