The Specialist contributes to a supportive and secure treatment atmosphere that encourages personal recovery. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, engaging in personalized interactions rooted in the Wellness and Recovery Philosophy, and monitoring and documenting patient behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize patient safety by closely observing, recording, and communicating their needs promptly.
  • Lead group therapy sessions and assist patients with daily living activities.
  • Support the execution of individualized treatment plans and participate in fundamental patient care tasks.
  • Provide necessary physical care and fulfill additional assigned responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of direct experience in patient care within a psychiatric healthcare environment.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent coursework in nursing or behavioral sciences.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support.
  • Proven ability to care for individuals with mental health conditions and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in multiple languages and familiarity with treatment philosophies and objectives is advantageous.
  • Genuine interest in contributing to a recovery-oriented setting utilizing a Wellness/Recovery Model.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric care principles and terminology is beneficial.
