Investment Strategy Portfolio Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

As an Investment Strategy Portfolio Analyst, you will:

  • Prepare and present portfolio analyses to Portfolio Strategists and Advisors, aiding in the identification of actionable strategies aligned with CIO guidance.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Strategists to proactively engage Advisors based on performance metrics, risk assessments, and asset allocation strategies.
  • Promote and facilitate the adoption of CIO guidance through consultations and portfolio evaluations.

Essential Duties:

  • Support Senior UHNW Portfolio Strategists in client and prospect engagements, leveraging expertise in goal-oriented investing, CIO SAA guidance, and ISG product knowledge.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in portfolio construction topics, including risk analytics, manager selection, and portfolio optimization.
  • Utilize portfolio risk and proposal tools to develop tailored proposals for specific client and prospect scenarios.
  • Engage in regular discussions with CIO, capital markets, and product partners to stay informed on market trends and product updates, ensuring the team reflects the firm’s best insights in UHNW portfolio recommendations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Prior experience in portfolio construction, manager selection (traditional or alternative), investment management, or a Wealth Management support/sales role assisting Financial Advisors.
  • Possession or attainment of Series 7 and 66 licenses within 120 days of hire.

Preferred:

  • Advanced investment credentials (CIMA, CAIA, CPWA, CFA, etc.).
