Position Summary: We are dedicated to attracting, nurturing, and retaining skilled and hardworking individuals whose values resonate with ours. Entry-level Production Technicians will undergo training to develop the necessary skills to achieve the advanced operations technician status known as 'Tech A.' Responsibilities include managing complex processes and machinery.

Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours, including 2nd (3 pm - 11 pm) or 3rd (11 pm - 7 am) shifts.

Key Responsibilities: The systems you will work with include high-speed corrugating machines, robotic assembly systems, conveyors, batch mixers, electrical distribution systems, and building automation systems.

  • Adhere to all personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety protocols within the production facility.
  • Maintain exemplary cleanliness and organization in your work area.
  • Meet production targets while ensuring product quality and cost efficiency.
  • Foster positive relationships within the team through respect, conflict resolution, and mutual support.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and teamwork.
  • Troubleshoot production issues to minimize safety risks, quality loss, and downtime.
  • Communicate effectively with plant operations and management.
  • Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and share knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Preferred candidates will have the ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Experience with OSHA regulations is highly valued.
  • Exhibit self-motivation, reliability, punctuality, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsibilities may evolve based on business requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Relevant job certifications are a plus.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Prior experience in the corrugated industry.
    • Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
    • An associate degree related to manufacturing is beneficial.
    • Military training or experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Language Proficiency:

  • Working knowledge of written and spoken English.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to read and utilize a non-metric measuring tape.
  • Competence in basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
