Position Summary: We are dedicated to attracting, nurturing, and retaining committed, skilled, and industrious individuals whose values resonate with ours. Entry-level Production Technicians will undergo training to develop the necessary skills to achieve the advanced operations technician status, known as "Tech A," and will be tasked with managing sophisticated processes and machinery.

The selected candidate must be willing to work flexible hours, including 2nd (3 pm - 11 pm) or 3rd (11 pm - 7 am) shifts.

  • Starting hourly wage of $20.00, with the potential to increase to $27.00 upon reaching Tech A status.

Key Responsibilities: The systems involved include high-speed corrugating machines, robotic assembly devices, conveyors, batch mixers, electrical distribution systems, and building automation systems.

  • Adhere to all personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety protocols associated with the production facility.
  • Maintain exemplary cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Meet production targets while ensuring product quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Foster positive relationships within the shift and team through mutual respect and collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Cost Production, and Team dynamics.
  • Troubleshoot production issues to minimize safety risks, quality loss, and downtime.
  • Communicate effectively with plant operations and management.
  • Exhibit a strong desire to learn and share knowledge of manufacturing processes with colleagues.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics is highly preferred.
  • Experience with OSHA regulations is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, punctual, and organized.
  • Demonstrated capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsibilities may evolve based on business requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Relevant job certifications are a plus.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Previous experience in the corrugated industry.
    • Experience in a manufacturing setting is beneficial.
    • An associate degree related to manufacturing is a plus.
    • Military training or experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Language Proficiency:

  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively in written and spoken English.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Proficient in using a non-metric measuring tape.
  • Capable of performing basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
