Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to enhance our manufacturing capabilities and processes, ensuring the production of high-quality products at competitive costs. This role involves mechanical design, redesign, and facility layout development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate plans to effectively complete projects in a timely and economical manner, ensuring all necessary information from stakeholders such as customers, engineering, tooling, quality, and production is incorporated during the planning phase.
  • Monitor and adjust process parameters as necessary.
  • Assist in estimating costs and quoting for new or modified products by initiating quotes based on specifications, determining processing methods, required equipment, and optimal rates.
  • Oversee mechanical design and redesign tasks, including machinery and equipment.
  • Lead initiatives to identify and implement effective solutions that enhance manufacturing processes and capabilities. Redesign facility layouts to support these improvements and promote ongoing process enhancements.
  • Support the resolution of production issues by acting as a troubleshooter for existing processes within the assigned facility or department as needed.
  • Organize and maintain all supporting documentation of activities for easy access and review.
  • Develop and deliver training for employees on new processes and equipment, ensuring proper documentation for optimal operation and safety.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; a minimum of three to five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
