Key Responsibilities:

The Continuous Improvement Specialist will oversee REHAU's internal RPS2 (REHAU Performance System), focusing on all continuous improvement initiatives. This system includes standardized management tools and methodologies aimed at enhancing performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery service, aligned with key performance indicators.

In this role, you will engage in various Continuous Improvement activities driven by the strategic objectives of the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and mentoring leaders, project teams, and employees to foster effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Providing support on the production floor and developing annual plans, data collection systems, and tracking for programs/projects.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with all departments, including Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to facilitate various initiatives.
  • Utilizing Project Management Tools to oversee all projects, ensuring timelines and targets are met.
  • Training and facilitating cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration.
  • Identifying and proposing potential replication projects to relevant stakeholders.
  • Implementing and realizing continuous improvement strategies within the plant.
  • Coordinating and executing workshops to drive improvement initiatives.
  • Generating reports and serving as the central contact for reporting processes.
  • Evaluating and implementing suggestions for improvement from plant employees.
  • Determining corrective measures in response to deviations based on established escalation scenarios.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in conducting and leading training, particularly in a manufacturing context, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with methodologies such as Kaizen, SMED, and Six Sigma is advantageous.

Education:

  • A preferred bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field, along with 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise in Lean and Continuous Improvement principles, systems, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in training individuals and groups effectively.
