Position Title: Senior Respiratory Therapist IV

As a Senior Respiratory Therapist on the night shift, you will be under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Therapy. Your role will encompass conducting respiratory therapy evaluations and treatments in accordance with medical directives, as well as performing electrocardiograms as needed. You will engage in advanced habilitation or therapeutic rehabilitation tasks, overseeing clinical services, program management, and potentially supervising other staff members.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct respiratory assessments and interventions for residents
  • Administer prescribed respiratory treatments with precision
  • Monitor vital signs consistently
  • Collect necessary specimens
  • Provide guidance to enhance optimal health care

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with a variety of respiratory equipment, including oxygen systems, ventilators, and therapeutic devices
  • Capability to manage emergency respiratory situations and critical incidents effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Dedication to maintaining professional standards and ethical practices

Requirements:

  • Valid licensure to practice Respiratory Care in the State of Texas
  • Reliability in attendance and job performance
