Primary Responsibilities
- Welcome members, potential members, and visitors, ensuring exceptional service at all times.
- Manage front desk operations, which include:
- Answering phone calls in a courteous manner and assisting with various inquiries.
- Checking members into the system efficiently.
- Facilitating new member registrations.
- Conducting tours for prospective members.
- Assist in updating member accounts as necessary.
- Address member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when required.
- Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in computer operations.
- A strong interest in fitness and wellness.
- Positive and energetic demeanor.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with members and colleagues, surpassing their expectations.
- Strong listening skills, capable of empathizing and resolving issues effectively.
- Ability to communicate diplomatically in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Regular verbal communication in person and over the phone.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Potential exposure to hazardous materials during the shift.
