About the Marketing and Loyalty Team: This dynamic team drives United's renowned brand and customer experience, enhancing revenue by fostering long-term relationships with our travelers. Our marketing communications, market research, and branding efforts amplify customer engagement, while our product and service teams ensure that the United experience is seamless and exceptional. The loyalty team, managing the United MileagePlus program, builds partnerships that enrich our customers' travel and lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a pivotal part of a cutting-edge product and engineering team, tasked with developing an innovative advertising solution for our airline.
  • Collaborate with business units to shape the strategic vision and product roadmap.
  • Oversee In-Flight Ad Serving technology, including template creation, network oversight, user management, and scalability.
  • Prioritize product features based on quantifiable business impact.
  • Articulate detailed product requirements and partner closely with Engineering and Data teams to develop new features.
  • Foster strong relationships with sales and marketing to gather insights that inform the product roadmap.
  • Conduct thorough industry and competitive analyses to stay ahead of trends in advertising and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years of product management experience in an advertising context.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently develop and implement successful product strategies that drive growth.
  • Strong technical acumen, including familiarity with digital advertising platforms, DSPs, SSPs, ad serving technologies, and data analytics.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems.
  • Proficiency in measurement and reporting, including campaign data integration.
  • Adept at navigating fast-paced environments and collaborating across functions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
