The IT Support Specialist operates under the general guidance of an IT Supervisor II, providing essential support for business functions within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
The specialist is responsible for delivering both administrative and technical assistance related to printers, desktop computers, laptops, and tablets. This role encompasses all aspects of end-user computer lifecycle management, including imaging, deployment, configuration, support, maintenance, and operation. Additionally, the specialist aids in the deployment, configuration, and upkeep of end-user software applications. Training users on the configuration and effective use of client technologies is also a critical component of this role.
The specialist collaborates with colleagues and management to enhance and recommend standards, processes, and procedures, as well as technology practices. Furthermore, the role involves tracking, monitoring, and auditing IT assets to ensure accountability, utilizing standard asset management tools and techniques in accordance with applicable policies and regulations. The specialist will participate in the Virtual Service Desk and contribute to the IT Field Support Team. Responsibilities may also include research, writing, reporting, and presenting.

Minimum Qualifications:
