About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Product Strategy Manager in our Vehicle Grid Integration (VGI) business unit in North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining the product requirements for our North American VGI solution, including energy services, use cases, user requirements, software, and bidirectional hardware.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the product roadmap for energy services in regulated and deregulated markets.
  • Interface with global product management teams and software development teams to ensure solutions align with other business units and wider company strategy.
  • Interview customers and end users to refine the product strategy and product development roadmap.
  • Meet with automakers, charger manufacturers, developers, installers, and other key stakeholders to determine technical requirements for the deployment of VGI solutions.
  • Interface with partners, vendors, and suppliers required for the VGI technology solution.
  • Gather market intelligence and track the competitive landscape, providing analysis and insights on required feature development.
  • Represent the company at industry events.

Requirements
  • 5-10 years of product management experience (flexible for the right candidate).
  • Industry experience in EV charging, energy storage, automotive, or energy industry in commercial or technical roles.
  • Business acumen and technical competence on electrical systems.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate direction with limited information.
  • Attention to detail and capability to manage diverse and large-scale projects.
  • Ability to present complex topics in a simple and clear format to executive management.
  • Ability to work cross-functionality and across geographies.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions accordingly.
