Sound Physicians is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team. As a key strategic team member, you will be responsible for managing all financial reporting and analytics functions for our service lines.

About the Role:

The Director of Finance will work closely with business leadership and other centralized functions to build and manage the infrastructure necessary for the success of our business lines. This individual will serve as a thought leader, using exceptional financial and analytical acumen to support, coach, and enable service line executives and operational leaders to deliver outstanding performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading service line budgeting, forecasting, and planning process
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to develop an understanding of business unit risks and opportunities
  • Coordinating with Sound finance to ensure alignment with company timelines and processes
  • Managing the development of communication materials with Sound executives
  • Developing and managing decision support tools
  • Conducting financial impact analysis to support decisions and measure results
  • Supporting sales team in modeling potential performance of target deals and arrangements
  • Supporting leadership team in modeling vendor deals and supporting development of such agreements
  • Managing key performance indicators in partnership with service line leadership
  • Developing reports and supporting documentation on service line financial performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Finance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized and ability to lead large projects and processes
  • Strong financial modeling, Excel, and presentation skills
  • Progressive finance or financial reporting experience preferably in risk-based or value-based care environment
