Overview:
As a Senior Aircraft Logistics Coordinator, you will be tasked with overseeing a streamlined and cost-efficient logistics framework that integrates all supply chain, transportation, and Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) maintenance operations essential for supporting an MQ-9 operational site. This role necessitates regular engagement with Air Force Special Operations Command MQ-9 units globally and requires a high degree of autonomy to fulfill task order objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Managing the ordering and requisitioning processes
- Conducting status verification and tracking
- Overseeing the issuance, cancellation, storage, and coordinated movement of parts and materials
- Ensuring accurate distribution, inventory management, and disposal of assets
- Maintaining and verifying the status of on-hand inventory through relevant reports and listings
- Handling the receipt, processing, and shipment of Due In From Maintenance assets within designated timelines
- Managing Awaiting Parts and cross-cannibalization inventory
- Executing reclamation and demilitarization procedures for condemned repair cycle assets as necessary
- Establishing a uniform storage and materials handling system that aligns with government standards
- Operating and sustaining an integrated aircraft maintenance unit support section
- Ensuring strict control and accountability of assigned Consolidated Tool Kits and support equipment
- Managing broken, spare, or unserviceable tools, including the calibration of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostics Equipment items
- Monitoring and maintaining Custodian Authorization/Custody Receipt Listings and E-tool support equipment accounts
- Acquiring and managing Hazardous Materials and Shelf Life items essential for daily aircraft maintenance operations through the government HAZMART facility
- Coordinating the acquisition or delivery of necessary materials to support both local and deployed operations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in Management and/or Materiel Management Support equivalent to U.S. Air Force Maintenance Support Section and/or U.S. Air Force Supply System
- Capability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge in Supply Material Control with some familiarity in Stock Control/MICAP
- Proficient understanding of Property Management systems, including processing Mission Support Kits issues, receiving, turn-ins, shipments, and MICAP ordering and processing
- Previous COSO experience with MQ-1/MQ-9 systems is advantageous.
Security Clearance Requirement:
This position mandates a government security clearance; applicants must be U.S. Citizens for consideration.
Work Environment:
This role is designated as an onsite full-time position, performed at a Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule:
