Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our Special Operations Forces - Global Logistics Support Services contract, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing MQ-9 Remotely Piloted Aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform scheduled and unscheduled organizational level maintenance on MQ-9 RPA.
  • Perform basic post-flight, thru-flight, preflight, acceptance, and transfer inspections, launch, recovery, towing, servicing, and ground handling actions.
  • Remove and replace line replaceable units & flight control components.
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation of AFTO 781 series forms and Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) in accordance with Air Force directives.
  • Identify and communicate maintenance support requirements to the flight line expediter or production supervisor.
  • Deploy in support of worldwide mobility tasking's as directed by higher headquarters.
  • Provide monitors and manages technical training.
  • Conduct task evaluations to assigned personnel.
Requirements
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • At least four years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Ability to successful complete CONUS Recovery Center (CRC) for deployment.
  • Have a valid US civilian Passport.
Desired Skills
  • 1 year MQ-1 and/or MQ-9 maintenance experience.
